If you are stuck with your homework and want to know more you can go to the TUDORS section of this site where you will find short notes on the monarchs and their families, on the leading people in society and on some major events in the period. If you require further details about the Tudors here are some other web sites that will help you. Visit several of them and gather information for your report. Of course there are differing opinions in history so a visit to several sites. The internet is a wonderful resource but can also contain a lot of rubbish. During our researches we have seen many differing ideas, some of which have no basis in fact. For examples the opinions on the origin of the nursery rhyme "The Grand Old Duke of York ". Examine the style we use in that report. We talk of the different ideas and examine the possible objections to each. Read several books from your library for information to put in your report. Don't forget your teachers know about these sites as well - don't just copy and paste. Put it in your own words and show a little original thought.
