Berkley Castle, Glous. off the A38

The UK's largest and most spectacular mediaeval festival - takes place in the grounds of the magnificent Berkeley Castle in Gloucestershire. Our packed programme of mediaeval revelry includes colourful all action jousting, the thunderous castle siege, booming cannon displays, mounted mediaeval hunting games, live performances from the Mediaeval Baebes, the massive Living History Village and the Traders Row with the very best mediaeval merchants displaying their wondrous wares.

At Joust you can try your hand at archery, sharpen your sword skills with the Knight's Challenge Arena, sup fine ales and dine on local organinc fayre while the little ones can enjoy their very own Children's Kingdom where they can Pelt the Peasant, have their faces painted and display their realistic battle scars with the ever poular wound painting! The Joust festival ticket also gains FREE entry into the ancient Berkeley Castle - home to the Berkeley family since 1153!
