Robin Hood Pageant

Nottingham Castle, Nottingham

Nottingham Castle has become synonymous with the legend of Robin Hood and the medieval happenings of this internationally renowned figure. For a number of years, the Castle has welcomed visitors to a unique event creating an atmosphere of a time long past, where there is the opportunity to relive the life and times of the legend of Robin Hood at the ancestral home of his arch enemy the Sherriff of Nottingham.

The Castle Green comes alive with action as the outlaws and Sheriff's men come to blows, on and off horseback. Jugglers, Jousters and puppets in a medieval encampment will entertain  over the  the weekend.

The grounds of Nottingham Castle will set the scene for this event which takes place in late October where you will be able to wander through and experience what life was like and wander through the medieval encampment.  See the artisans at work, be enthralled by the Jesters, Wandering Minstrels, Storytellers and Actors or even test your skills at archery.

This year, Robin Hood Pageant will take place on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd October  from 11am - 5pm
